I'm a full service graphic designer, specializing in design for brand identity, packaging, print, and interactive media. My design experience is broad and deep, with problem solving at its core. Originally trained in the classic style of design, I have made it a point throughout my career to understand and master current trends and technologies.
I'm a strategic designer & art director with an eye for innovation and a desire for perfection.
I’ve worked the gamut of clients from big to small (Avanquest, Levi Strauss, The Gap, Apple, Nike & Logitech to name a few)
My skill set is vast, with my greatest expertise in the worlds of brand identity, web design, packaging, interactive media, user interface and print collateral design.
I believe good design improves function. I'm results-driven, keeping eyes and mind open for unexpected solutions along the way.
I'm good at what I do... and I like to work

"My experience with George has been phenomenal. He is the definition of a team player, taking notes and input from multiple sources and creating exceptional work from the word ‘Go.’ He not only brings a creative direction to the table, but also is amazingly fast and flexible – qualities needed in our busy and demanding business. I have worked with George for many years now. His thoughtful eye and dependability have made him someone I have turned to for any number of projects on a day-to-day basis."
"Working with George has been a dream. I rely on his expertise and experience at many levels when it comes to design - his impeccable aesthetic sense as well as his professionalism. His creative process is results driven. When I task George with a project I can be assured that he will propose multiple design options, interface with team members to find the best solution, and bring the project in on time."
Our business is to produce products for the retail market, so having a graphic designer who knows and understands the subtleties and nuances of retail is crucial; George not only meets that need, he exceeds it. We have worked with George for the past 10 years and in that time George has become much more than a contracted associate; George is part of the fabric that makes up our company, knowing almost intuitively what our goals are and directing us how to reach them through his artwork. George keeps it on time, on target, and on budget!
"After working together for more than 10 years, George Kander remains my first choice when I need a graphic designer. His vast depth of knowledge, along with his amazing skill set and ability to work quickly, within tight deadlines and budgets - while at the same time never compromising quality – makes him the best in his field.”
